Products: Standards and Compliance for AICC, SCORM, and 508c

OnDemand Software, a division of Global Knowledge, maintains a commitment of supporting established, emerging, and evolving industry standards. This allows organizations to focus on their learning goals, not on learning technology. As this landscape develops and matures, OnDemand Software will continue to support the universal standards that allow organizations to connect their knowledge assets.

Learning Specifications

One of the overriding challenges faced by today's enterprise content developers has been that of portability. With many varying content development platforms, it has been impossible to easily share lessons from one to the other. OnDemand Personal Navigator™ solves this transition by producing learning content that is both AICC and SCORM compliant.

Authors can now create and publish content that can be easily launched and tracked by Learning Management Systems (LMS). OnDemand Personal Navigator content now subscribes to the following specifications:

  • AICC 3.5
  • AICC AGR-010: Web Based CMI Guidelines (Level 1)
  • SCORM 1.2
  • SCORM 1.3 (2004)
  • SCORM Content Aggregation Model
  • Shareable Content Object runtime Environment (SCO-RTE1)
Section 508c

Section 508c refers to the portion of the United States Federal Rehabilitation Act discussing equal access to information technology for people with disabilities.
